High-compression XPS board enquiries
Discuss custom XPS foam board supply with a requested compressive strength of up to 1000 kPa. Specify the grade, dimensions and application when enquiring so the proposed board can be checked against your project requirements.
Options listed for this range include different thicknesses, colours and surface finishes, plus cutting and lamination for further fabrication. Confirm which options are available for the requested strength grade before ordering.
Published range specifications
The table below lists the original range information, not a confirmed specification for every 1000 kPa configuration. Request the current grade-specific datasheet and test report, including test method and conditions. Confirm the temperature range and applicable fire classification rather than relying on the abbreviated table labels.

What does 1000 kPa mean for your order?
1000 kPa equals 1 MPa: it is a compressive-stress value, not a complete floor load rating. Specify the test method and deformation limit with the number. For equipment or storage loads that remain in place, the relevant question is how much the selected board deforms over time; a short-term compression result cannot answer that on its own.
Can every thickness be supplied at 1000 kPa?
The published 6–120 mm thickness range and 150–1000 kPa strength range describe a product family, not every possible combination. Make the requested strength and thickness a single quotation item, with the matching datasheet and test report. This prevents an offer for a lower-strength board of the right size being mistaken for the required grade.
Does higher strength allow thinner insulation?
No: strength and thermal resistance answer different questions. At an assumed thermal conductivity of 0.030 W/(m·K), a 30 mm layer has a calculated thermal resistance of 1.0 m²·K/W; a 60 mm layer has 2.0 m²·K/W. These are calculation examples, not certified values for the proposed 1000 kPa grade. Use its declared conductivity for the final selection. See the thickness and strength selection guide.
What should the quotation identify?
List the selected grade, length × width × thickness, skin-on/skin-off/grooved surface, quantities and delivery destination. For lamination, identify the facing and bonding process. For sustained loads, include the required compressive-creep data and the designer’s acceptable deformation criteria for the complete assembly.
Request a high-compression XPS board quotation with the grade requirement and quantities by thickness. Ask the offer to identify the proposed grade, available dimensions and supporting reports. Use the XPS board quotation checklist for the order schedule, or compare the XPS board supply range for other project requirements.
