Select the Right Board Construction
Uncoated XPS foam board should not automatically be treated as a ready-to-tile shower substrate or a complete waterproofing layer. If the project requires a coated tiling surface, review the cement-coated XPS tile backer board and the required installation system.
For floor, wall, roof or refrigerated assemblies, confirm the support, moisture detailing, facing materials and operating conditions. Specialized roadbed or hydroponic uses require a project-specific material suitability check.
