China’s EPS manufacturing base gives heating distributors access to a broad choice of panel formats and supporting components. Banarta supplies overseas buyers through a coordinated China sourcing approach. Use this checklist to choose an identified model, confirm pipe fit and turn floor area into a clear bulk order.
Plan a distributor range from China by model
Start with the pipe sizes and floor build-ups used in your market. Keep each panel model on a separate order line and distinguish overall panel dimensions from usable coverage. The BS-20 and BE-20 comparison below gives you a starting point for that model-based discussion.
Request pack quantities and pallet information for the actual model mix. A mixed trial order and a repeat order of one model are different purchasing plans; send both quantities if you want a meaningful comparison. Add the intended label language and buyer SKU to the enquiry so receiving staff can distinguish similar-looking panels.
Build repeat supply around the approved model, pipe reference and packaging record. Share the expected replenishment pattern and agree the order milestones, including sample evaluation and dispatch planning. This makes practical use of China’s production breadth while keeping each shipment tied to an identifiable specification.
Browse EPS underfloor heating panels supplied from China, then prepare the model schedule before requesting a bulk quote.
Download the bulk enquiry worksheet
Download the bulk enquiry worksheet (Excel .xlsx). Enter BS-20 and BE-20 on separate order lines. State the quantity unit and attach the layout; confirm usable coverage and pack contents in the quotation.
Complete the Enquiry and Order items tabs, then email the workbook and supporting files to Tina at Banarta. Available configurations, minimum quantities, price and delivery timing are confirmed in the quotation.
Two panels with “20” in the model name are not necessarily the same thickness. Use the model-specific dimensions rather than interpreting the product code as a universal measurement.

BS-20 and BE-20: published dimensions compared
| Published field | BS-20 | BE-20 |
|---|---|---|
| Overall panel size | 1370 × 820 mm | 1370 × 720 mm |
| Total panel height | 44 mm | 40 mm |
| Insulation layer | 20 mm | 16 mm |
| Surface description | HIPS film; mushroom-stud layout | HIPS film; raised pipe-positioning profile |
| Listed standard package | 11.2 m² | 11.4 m² |
These figures come from the current Banarta BS-20 product page and BE-20 product page. Confirm the supplied version and packaging before purchase. A listed package area must not be assumed to equal net installed coverage.
The total height includes the raised profile; the insulation layer is a different measurement. The complete finished floor additionally includes the specified covering layers and finish. Using only the insulation-layer thickness can understate the height needed at thresholds and adjoining rooms.
Confirm usable area before comparing prices
Gross size describes the outside rectangle. Interlocking edges, overlap, trimming and room shape can change the usable area. Request the net coverage per panel, panels per pack and the supplier’s package-area basis on the same quotation.
For example, the published BS-20 outside dimensions give 1.37 × 0.82 = 1.1234 m² of gross rectangular area. That calculation is not a declaration of usable coverage or pieces per pack. In particular, do not derive a pack count by dividing the rounded package area by this gross area.
Ask the heating designer or quantity surveyor to separate net heated area, perimeter cuts, non-heated zones and agreed allowance. Compare price per usable square metre only when the coverage basis has been confirmed for both offers.
Choose a starting model for 10 mm or 16 mm pipe
- 10 mm pipe: compare the BA-10, BA-10A and BA-10B EPS panels. Their published total heights are 25, 28 and 30 mm respectively, with 12, 15 and 17 mm insulation layers.
- 16 mm pipe: review the BEPS-1621 and BEPS-1631 modular EPS panels. Their published board format is 1200 × 600 mm, with 21 or 31 mm panel thickness and optional aluminum facing.
These links identify products with an explicit pipe-diameter specification. They do not establish that the panels are interchangeable or that other models are unsuitable. For a quotation, identify the exact model, pipe outside diameter, routing drawing, facing and quantity; confirm the complete floor assembly separately.
Approve the pipe and assembly together
- Specify actual pipe outside diameter and the planned routing centres.
- Check pipe retention with the proposed pipe and a representative panel sample.
- Confirm the interlocking detail and any film-overlap instructions.
- Record the substrate, perimeter treatment, covering layer and floor finish.
- Request the relevant technical documents for project loading and thermal requirements.
A studded panel layout is different from a grooved dry-floor panel. Do not assume that EPS identifies a single installation method. If the project is still choosing its system, start with the XPS versus EPS guide and obtain assembly-specific instructions.
Once the panel and pipe arrangement has been selected, use the wet EPS panel handover before screed to record factory edges, cut joints, perimeter details and pipe crossings before the area is released for covering.
Build a distributor order by model
| Order line | What to agree |
|---|---|
| Product identity | Model, drawing or datasheet revision, pipe requirement and permitted alternatives. |
| Quantity | Pieces and packs per model, net coverage basis and separate allowance. |
| Packaging | Pack count, stack height, pallet dimensions and protection of raised profiles. |
| Labels | Model and batch reference, language and any buyer SKU mapping to be confirmed. |
| Documentation | Applicable specification, installation guidance and product-specific reports. |
| Delivery | Destination, unloading arrangement, quotation basis and required arrival window. |
If you plan to hold multiple models, give each its own order line and warehouse label. Substituting a similar footprint or a different profile height can create a problem only discovered after the material reaches a job site. Ask the supplier to mark proposed substitutions clearly instead of combining them under “EPS panel”.
Questions to settle before a bulk order
Does BE-20 mean a 20 mm insulation layer? No. The published BE-20 page lists a 16 mm insulation layer and 40 mm total height. Use its current specification.
Can pipe fit be confirmed from the model name? No. Supply the actual pipe diameter and spacing and request confirmation of the selected panel.
Are minimum order and lead time fixed? They are quotation-specific. Ask for separate confirmation of the chosen model mix, samples, packing and delivery schedule.
Browse the EPS heating panel range and use the materials order checklist to prepare a complete enquiry. Send Banarta your model list, quantities and destination.
