Grooved XPS Board for Heating Pipe Layouts
This floor heating board combines a grooved XPS insulation core with an aluminum sheet facing. The grooves provide a defined route for pipes in a hydronic underfloor heating assembly.
The published panel size is 1500 × 600 mm, with thickness options from 25 to 50 mm. Discuss pipe diameter, groove path and aluminum thickness together when specifying a configuration.

From Pipe Layout to Finished Floor
Provide the pipe outside diameter and circuit drawing so that the groove configuration can be reviewed. Match the board to the complete floor assembly, including the supporting substrate and final floor finish.
- Check the required substrate preparation and flatness.
- Confirm any load-distribution or covering layer before installing tiles or timber flooring.
- Coordinate panel thickness with the available finished-floor height.
- Use the installation instructions for the selected heating system and finish materials.
The panel should not be treated as a guarantee that leveling, additional support or bonding layers can be omitted. Heating performance depends on the complete design and operating conditions.
