XPS Core with Aluminum Facing
XPS radiant heat panels combine a grooved insulation board with an aluminum surface layer for water-based underfloor heating. The grooves follow the planned pipe route. Select the panel and facing together with the heating design, rather than treating the board as a complete heating system.
What to Confirm for Your Project
- Pipe fit: provide the pipe diameter, spacing and return-loop arrangement for the proposed layout.
- Facing: specify the required aluminum thickness and configuration when requesting a quotation.
- Floor finish: confirm the support and covering layers required for the chosen tile, timber or other finish.
- Order details: provide panel dimensions, quantity and packaging needs.
Suitability for direct installation of a finish must be confirmed for the complete assembly. This page does not establish a universal direct-tiling method or a guaranteed installation-time saving.
