Aluminum-Faced XPS Board for Hydronic Heating
This grooved XPS board has an aluminum sheet facing and a published standard size of 1500 × 600 mm. It is intended for water-based underfloor heating pipe layouts, with panel thickness and groove configuration selected for the project.
The listed thickness range is 25–50 mm. Pipe paths, pipe sizes and aluminum thickness can be reviewed against your layout drawing. Confirm the supplied configuration before ordering.

Request the current datasheet and applicable test reports for the selected board. Confirm the service-temperature range and fire-classification standard rather than treating the listed options as one universal grade.
Coordinate the Heating Floor Build-Up
Specify the substrate, pipe circuit, covering layers and finished flooring together. This grooved heating board is not automatically a ready-to-tile waterproof substrate: direct installation of tiles or timber requires confirmation of the complete supporting and bonding assembly.
- Check the pipe outside diameter and routing pattern against the grooves.
- Confirm substrate flatness, support and any load-distribution layer.
- Include the panel, adhesive and finish layers when checking available floor height.
- Follow the installation instructions for the selected floor system.

Order Quantities for the 1500 × 600 mm Format
One uncut board has a nominal footprint of 1.5 m × 0.6 m = 0.9 m². For example, 100 standard-size boards represent 90 m² of gross board area. This is a quantity calculation, not guaranteed installed coverage: the project layout determines cuts, perimeter pieces and any additional allowance.
- Quantity basis: give the number of boards for each thickness and requested routing pattern. If your request starts in square metres, include the floor plan and state whether that area is the room area or the board quantity to be supplied.
- Pipe configuration: the published option is 16 mm. The table also lists custom requests for 10 mm or 20 mm; confirm a matching groove configuration rather than assuming one groove fits all three diameters.
- Facing and floor height: specify the required aluminum sheet thickness and the complete floor build-up. The 25–50 mm figure is the panel thickness range, not the height of the finished floor.
- Quoted scope: confirm the product reference, packing quantities, price unit, delivery destination, minimum order and lead time for the selected configuration. Keep any custom routing separate in the quotation.
