FRP facing with an XPS insulation core
This sandwich-panel option combines an XPS foam core with an FRP facing. Discuss the facing thickness, finish and panel dimensions for vehicle-body, partition or insulated-panel fabrication.
Define the complete panel construction when requesting a quotation. Surface requirements, edges, joints and fixings should be considered alongside the core specification; an FRP-faced panel is not automatically a tile-backer or a complete waterproofing system.
Published sandwich-panel range
The original table below covers several facing options. For this FRP-faced version, request a configuration-specific datasheet confirming the facing, core and finished panel dimensions.
Features | Specifications |
Length | 1200mm-4000mm or Customized |
Width | 600mm /1200mm |
Thickness | 15mm/20mm/30mm/40mm Or Customized |
Compressive Strength of XPS | 150KPa-1000Kpa Customized |
Dimensional stability70℃±2℃,48h | 1-2% |
Color of XPS Foam Board | Yellow/Blue/White/Pink |
Facing Materials | HPL / PVC / FRP / ACP/ SPC/ Plywood / Aluminum Sheets…. |
The listed compressive strength is for the XPS core. Confirm the required finished-panel performance and supporting reports separately; the table does not establish a wall, roof or vehicle-body load rating.
Details to confirm before ordering
- FRP surface: facing thickness, colour, finish and any cleaning or exposure requirements.
- Panel size: overall thickness, length, width, tolerances and any cut-outs.
- Assembly: edges, joints, adhesive or fixing requirements and supporting structure.
- Project documentation: applicable fire, thermal and mechanical requirements, plus quantity and delivery destination.
Application enquiries
For refrigerated bodies, cold-room partitions or other insulated assemblies, send the operating conditions and drawings for review. Suitability, surface compatibility and installation details must be confirmed for the selected construction rather than assumed from the core material alone.
