This tile backer board combines an XPS foam core, fiberglass reinforcement and cement-based surfaces. It is offered for tiled wall, bathroom and floor enquiries where the board and installation system are selected together.

Specify a tile-backer construction rather than an uncoated XPS insulation board. Confirm the required size, thickness, adhesive compatibility and support arrangement before ordering.

Match the board to the installation

  • Tiled walls: confirm board thickness, supports, fixings and permitted tile loading.
  • Wet rooms: specify joint sealing, corners, penetrations and waterproofing connections.
  • Floor or heating assemblies: confirm substrate preparation, fixing or bonding method and system compatibility.
  • Enclosures and features: provide drawings and support details for the proposed construction.

The board alone does not make a complete assembly watertight. Use the matched installation guidance and sealing system rather than relying on the foam core or surface coating alone.
