Coated XPS boards with heating-pipe grooves

This grooved tile backer board combines an XPS foam core with a mortar coating described as approximately 1 mm on either side. The published range lists 20–50 mm overall thickness and 1200 × 600 mm panels, with customized dimensions and groove patterns available for discussion.

Groove options are listed for 16 mm or 20 mm pipe. Confirm the selected diameter and layout, together with the layers and floor finish above the panel, before ordering.

Request the current configuration-specific datasheet and test methods. The water-vapour permeability entry has inconsistent units in the published table and must be confirmed before use in calculations. Confirm the applicable standard and report for the stated fire classification.

Specify the heating-floor construction

  • Pipe diameter, spacing, groove pattern and turning details.
  • Panel thickness, dimensions and fixing or bonding method.
  • Substrate condition and any required covering or load-distribution layers.
  • Compatible floor finish, adhesive and installation sequence.
  • Wet-area joints, penetrations and waterproofing connections where applicable.

Do not assume that tile, wood, laminate or carpet can be applied directly to every configuration. Confirm the complete system instructions and required performance documentation. Heating response and temperature distribution depend on the full design, not the board alone.

Request project supply

Send the floor plan, pipe specification, intended finish, board thickness, quantities and delivery destination. Include any packaging or project approval requirements.
