Define the wet-area detail
- Board selection: required dimensions, thickness and supporting substrate.
- Joints and edges: specified sealing components and wall-to-floor connections.
- Penetrations: treatment around pipes, fixings and other openings.
- Tile finish: adhesive compatibility, tile loading and surface preparation.
- Project approval: required system documentation and installation checks.
For floors, framed walls, enclosures or heated assemblies, confirm the permitted construction and support details. Do not assume that the same board thickness or fixing arrangement suits every application.
