This insulated backer board combines an XPS foam core with fiberglass and cement-based surfaces. Discuss it for tiled wall and floor assemblies where the backing construction and insulation layer are specified together.
Confirm the board thickness, size and supporting substrate before selection. The complete build-up determines application suitability; this coated board should not be treated as an interchangeable replacement for every mineral board or uncoated insulation sheet.

Confirm the assembly requirements
- Insulation layer: required thickness and position within the floor or wall build-up.
- Backing support: substrate preparation, framing where applicable, fixings and bonding method.
- Tiled surface: compatible adhesive, tile loading and surface preparation.
- Wet-area use: joints, corners, penetrations and connections to the specified sealing system.
- Special features: drawings and supports for enclosures, benches or other constructed details.
Follow the matched installation guidance. The board alone does not make the assembly watertight, and compatibility with heating systems must be confirmed for the proposed construction.
