Double-Layer EPS Panels for Hydronic Floor Heating

The BWE-16 series combines a shaped plastic surface layer with an EPS insulation base. The raised stud pattern provides a layout for heating pipes. These are underfloor heating panels, not XPS tile backer boards.

This page covers BWE-16 and BWE-16A. Both are listed at 1346 × 840 mm, but their total thicknesses and insulation layers differ. Select the complete panel configuration for your planned floor assembly.

Coordinate the panel with the substrate, perimeter details and specified screed or covering layer. Allow for the full raised profile when calculating finished floor height. Compatibility with a particular covering material or pipe layout needs to be checked as part of the selected heating system.
