BEA-20 EPS Panel for Hydronic Underfloor Heating
The BEA-20 is an expanded polystyrene (EPS) underfloor heating panel with a HIPS surface film and a raised mushroom-stud layout. The shaped surface provides a route for heating pipes, while interlocking edges connect adjacent panels during installation.
This model is listed with a 20 mm insulation layer and a total panel thickness of 44 mm. These are different dimensions: the model designation does not specify a compatible pipe diameter. Confirm pipe fit and the required spacing before selecting panels for your circuit layout.

Plan the Complete Floor Build-Up
- Check the pipe outside diameter, routing pattern and circuit design against the panel geometry.
- Allow for the insulation layer, raised studs and the specified covering layer when calculating finished floor height.
- Confirm substrate preparation, perimeter details and compatibility with the specified screed or other floor assembly.
- Include panel quantities, layout drawings and delivery requirements in your inquiry.
The panel is one component of the heating floor assembly. Installation and covering requirements should follow the selected system design; the panel dimensions alone do not establish the performance of the finished floor.
BEA-20 packing and trade quotations
Keep the 44 mm total height in the purchase description: BEA-20 has a 20 mm insulation layer, but it is not a 20 mm overall-height panel. For distributors and heating system suppliers, identify BEA-20 separately on the order schedule and packing labels.
The published standard package is 11.2 m². Confirm usable coverage, pieces per package, outer dimensions and gross weight for the supplied configuration. For split project deliveries, list quantities and destination requirements for each batch; confirm samples, minimum quantity and lead time with the quotation.
Comparing panels with a 20 mm insulation layer? BEK-16 lists the same 1370 × 720 mm overall size at 36 mm total height. BE-25 lists 1330 × 750 mm at 48 mm total height. Confirm pipe fit, connections and floor design separately before substituting one model for another.
